Unfortunately, I don't have any better picture than this one, but it gives you the idea. When I first installed a dual POP system on my car, my biggest fear was the filters hanging down too low. When I did this mod, I was in Europe, and in an area that seemed to rain all the time. I was always worried that I would get caught in an extremely heavy down pour on the autobahn and end up sucking up water and hydro-locking the engine. So I built this little shield. Made out of plexi-glass (which back in the day was perfectly clear and truly invisible...unlike it is in the pic). As time went on, the plexi-glass got foggy as you see it here. Its attached to the bumper itself (aluminum piece). It is angled back in towards the engine and then has a second piece attached and angle back up. Like a large L shape. This not only protects the front of the filters, but also solves the problem with excessive air moving across the filter (ie: the duct tape mod). I have driven in plenty of heavy rain storms and never been worried about it. And furthermore, never had any issues with cooling.
